Learning points

& thoughts

I have learnt the importance and how handy planning could be in helping with time management. Through the guided learning project I have also learnt to be more flexible such that when something doesn't go as plan we should work around it and make adjustments.

LEARNING POINTS

 Overall the project has helped me improve my individual working strength as I had to complete my part of the project on time alone. It helped me to learn how to plan my time better for projects as well as to adjust and adapt to different situations as we were managing two different projects at once including our school one it was very important

​

It also helped strengthened my communication skills such that despite the situation with the stay home learning  regardless of when help of needed communicating with my team to keep them updated with what has been done and not as well as to ask for assistance was important in helping us complete our project.

​

An additional take away would be the fact that our project as to design for a different country and culture, it taught me to be mindful of the differences and considerations needed with deep research before starting off in my projects.

​

The guided learning project being heavily individual dependent needed us to create our own timeline and plan it well compared to school project where we have full guidance from our teachers. This would be similar to when we were to go out to the working industry in the future where we are more responsible for ourselves.

​

The PPMR are all important steps as part of our project and the most challenging part was definitely PERFORM as during the process it may affect our plans based on our speed and progress.

​

Overall the project has helped identify my weaknesses and strength which was my goal for joining it, and definitely help improve my team communication skills as well.
